About me

Hi, I’m Erika! I’m a product designer. I was recently at Capital One for 3+ years, where I worked on the Identity team in commercial banking and Zelle and money movement team in consumer banking. I’m currently searching for new opportunities.

I initially majored in computer science in college because I was excited by the positive impact technology can have on people. In high school I had fun creating web design and development projects, like a web app called Pocket Therapy for users to enter their feelings and worries and see them disappear.

I decided to pivot to product design when I discovered it in my sophomore year because I found I was most interested in how users interact with technology, the impact it has on them, and whether the technology they are using meets their needs.

I’m a bit of a serial hobbyist, so it’s hard to say what my hobbies are at any given time, but lately you can find me gaming🕹️🎮, going on walks in the cold (and listening to podcasts and audiobooks), drawing🎨, reading📖, and doing yoga.
